Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy proven to help clients process and heal from distressing experiences. By using bilateral stimulation, EMDR reduces the emotional intensity of traumatic memories and fosters resilience. Originally developed to treat PTSD, EMDR is now widely used to address:

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Anxiety and panic attacks

  • Childhood emotional neglect

  • Relationship trauma or attachment wounds

  • Grief and loss

  • Performance anxiety

  • Phobias and fears

  • Chronic shame or low self-worth

Traditional & Walking Therapy

Therapy doesn’t always happen sitting across from one another in an office. Some clients find that being outdoors allows them to process emotions more freely. I offer both in-office sessions and nature-based walking therapy, drawing from:

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

  • Somatic awareness practices

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Polyvagal-informed therapy

These modalities support clients in building awareness, developing healthier coping strategies, and reconnecting with themselves in meaningful ways.
